The joy of collecting...

  1. Yeah, as much as I dislike DRM, I'm slowly shifting to digital comics for this reason. Especially since at this point, I'm generally reading things only once.

  2. Be a champion. Get the sturdier drawer boxes and turn them into furniture. You can be another lonely collector or you can be king of comics on a longbox throne.

  3. I want a pulp paper tomb. Actually, I want all my stuff buried with me like an ancient Egyptian tomb. So thousands of years from now, some archeologists will break in, nd I'll raise from the dead to take revenge on them for stealing my complete run of Green Lantern (the Kyle Rayner years)

  4. Never really understood keeping *every* comic you buy. My usual routine was to build up a stack or two, get sick of them lying around and cluttering the place, then dump all but one or two in recycling. (Often with a curse of 'how much money did I put into all this crap?' The result of which is that I put a lot less money into crap, and the stacks take a lot longer to build up. The fantasmagorical medium of sequential art, everyone!)

    1. Apparently, some of us have less control over our hoarding instincts than you do. I wish I did!
